Dizin Ski Resort

One of the largest ski resorts in Iran and the Middle East, Dizin (Dīzīn) is perched on the Alborz lofty Mountain range. It is the best ski resort within a one-day trip distance from Tehran. The resort boasts the standard facilities such as gondolas, ski lifts, chairlifts, hotels, restaurants, and several chalets on the stations. At the highest point, it reaches the altitude of 3600 m and features a 7.5 km ski route covered with snow powder from December to May. In summer, the resort offers a plenty of exciting activities; from grass skiing and mountain biking to archery and other recreational activities. Also, with the help of a local guide, you can familiarize yourself with the rare species of flowers, and medical herbs grown on the lap of encircling mountains.
